The grand Palace complex is in the heart of Bangkok and it contains a series of palaces. Built in the 18th century by the King's of Chakri dynasty, many other palaces were subsequently added to it. Even to day the foreign dignitaries and State officials are received here. It has delicate carvings and intricate designs. There are beautiful Mural paintings on the wall. The place was very crowded with tourists though the sun was very piercing and it was very hot.
