It was such a pleasure on 10th Novemeber, 2017, to meet an old student, my first student from Women's Studies, Han, who had come from China, to the University and joined Ph. D with me. She is now the editor of a News Paper and is settled in Bangkok. She stays very far from my hotel and I told her not to bother to come and see me, for by now I am familiar with the traffic here. However, there was no way that Han would listen to me and travelling for two hours, taking a taxi, she reached my hotel. We had a lovely evening and had dinner together enjoying the authentic Thai cuisine. I feel very happy to see my students so much attached to me, and Han took so much trouble just to meet me. This is the joys of teaching, the take aways that we have from our teaching profession.
