Clacton on sea is the largest district in Essex and a Old port town. Founded in 1871, it is a big tourist attraction. The whole Clacton area, on the English Channel has been developed as a big amusement area with a number of casinos and games dotting the area. This area reminded me of portions of Las Vegas albeit at a smaller level. A large portion of the sea has been covered with wooden boards and a large amount of amusement parks occupy this. This has a beautifully kept Garden of remembrance and a war memorial to the martyrs of World War one and two. The flower garden surrounding it is really very beautiful and attractive. An array of beautiful buildings, in a typical London style of architecture surround this area. Also visited a farmers area on the way.
